I'm new to the forum and to Japanese gardening as well. I came here via koi. The garden was started in 2004 as an extension on the koi pond. So far I have concentrated on getting the topography correct and finishing the ponds. A few trees are in as well. I'll post some photos of where I am now in the photography section.

Welcome Dwight, it isn't easy to incorporate a pool and garden.  I know I have one too.  You have done a lot of work, I see the wheel barrow and shovels in the last photo.  Learning about Japanese gardening is a great journey and learning expierience.  I for one have gleamed great knowledge from the forums and I wish you success in your journey.
Cheers  June
