Title: Greetings from Southwestern Ontario

Hi Folks,

David here in beautiful southwestern Ontario.  I've joined in hopes of finding advice on  building a waiting bench for my small stroll garden.  I'm a novice to forums in general, but a fast learner.  I'm also a novice to carpentry and while I love and admire the traditional joinery techniques of japanese architecture, I fear the skill is beyond my level of patience - a purist at heart but realist by necessity?

Anyway, hello all.  I look forward to meeting you and exchanging ideas and photos.
